RCB vs DC Highlight, IPL 2021: RCB beats DC by 1 run

Royal Challengers Bangalore were facing the Delhi Capitals in the 22nd match of the IPL 2021. RCB defeated DC in the match played at Narendra Modi Stadium, Ahmedabad on Tuesday 27th April. This victory has helped RCB to again jump on 1st position in IPL 2021 point table.

After winning the toss, Rishabh Pant opted to bowl. Virat Kohli had one changes to their line-up with Rajat Patidar comes in for Navdeep Saini & Rishabh Pant had no change.

Royal Challengers scored 171/5 in 20 overs, where Delhi scored 170/4 in 20 overs.

End of the match: Royal Challengers beat Delhi Capitals by 1 run and gain a huge victory against Delhi Capitals.

RCB Batting

AB de Villiers scored the highest 75 runs off 42 balls with help of 3 fours and 5 sixes. G.Maxwell scored 25 runs off 20 balls with the help of 1 four and 2 sixes. Captain King Kohli contributes 12 runs off 11 balls with the help of 2 fours, D.Padikkal scored 17 runs off 14 balls with the help of 3 fours and R.Patidar scored 31 runs off 22 balls with the help of 2 sixes. 

DC Bowling

Ishant Sharma, Kagiso Rabada, Avesh Khan, Amit Mishra and Axar Patel took 1-1 wickets each.

Chasing the target of 171 runs.

DC Batting

Captain and Wicketkeeper Rishabh Pant scored 58 runs. He hit 6 fours in 40 balls. S. Hetmyer contributes 53 runs, He hit 2 fours and 4 sixes off 32 balls, Prithvi Shaw scored 21 off 18, Dhawan scored 6 runs off 7 balls, S.Smith 4 runs off 5 balls and M.Stoinis scored 22 runs off 17 balls.

RCB Bowling

RCB’s Harshal Patel took 2 wickets. Mohammed Siraj and Kyle Jamieson took 1-1 wickets each.

MAN OF THE MATCH

AB De Villiers, who hit three fours and five sixes, was the top scorer for RCB. The veteran South African hit 22 runs off the last over bowled by Marcus Stoinis (0/23)that included three sixes. AB also became the second overseas cricketer to reach 5000 runs in the IPL.

  2. Yes the match was breath taking, the last over of Siraj was outstanding with some real good Yorkers which helped the RCB win…. Not to forget the smashing last over of Stoinis where ABD kept the ball above the ground.
