Coorg is about 106 km from Mangalore rail station and about 250 km from the airport.

Coorg is a scenic winter destination in Karnataka with undulated hills, sprawling landscapes and colourful scenery. A holy place called Honnamana Kere is a popular tourist destination complete with lake, cliffs and coffee estates. Mallalli Falls is another place not to miss. Trekking, hiking, boating and fishing are some of the activities that are popular activities at this place near Bangalore in winters.
